Scope:An unexpected referral from a prestigious client following the delivery of a major project on their behalf gave Paradigm Interiors the pleasure of meeting and working alongside the former Chief Executive of the same organisation, whom, now retired from the business, has focussed his enthusiasm and interminable energy into a project laser focused on helping the younger generation within his own community.

Everyones Gang, a Community Interest Company, is the brainchild of Peter Henrickson and Tyrrel Clara and their dedication to fostering a safe and trusting environment for those who feel vulnerable or are currently navigating the complexities of criminal involvement.

From our very first meeting with Peter and Tyrrel, we very quickly understood their drive, ambition and the vision that they both had for the transformation of a previously vacant commercial unit in the heart of Kempston, which, over recent years had been unloved, and we were delighted to be able to bring this to fruition for them, creating a professionally vibrant, unique and welcoming environment from which to launch their fantastic initiative.

Undertaking a full refurbishment of the space on their behalf, our design incorporated a music room, a communal area and offices to the first floor and an open plan ground floor, multi-use area which is adaptable for numerous activities, such as training, self-improvement teaching, or simply a space where young people can feel safe in their surroundings and where they can talk openly and in confidence to those who understand their circumstances better than anyone else.

To meet staffing deadlines, and in order that occupation of the site could be achieved as quickly as possible, works to the first floor offices were completed over an initial 6 week period, with some residual works to the ground floor being completed soon afterwards, with full occupation achieved from early December 2024.

All of us at Paradigm Interiors, involved either directly or indirectly with the project, are delighted to have had the opportunity to work alongside Peter, Tyrrel and their colleagues to deliver such a great space to serve the community and we wish them every success moving forward as this amazing initiative goes from strength to strength.
