Project: Refurbishment of existing offices within a secure environment

Scope: Paradigm were appointed as the preferred contractor for an advanced technology development organisation located in Oxfordshire. With a brief to redesign the existing offices, electrical and data infrastructure to accommodate a doubling of the headcount over the next 12–24 months, the project incorporated all necessary design work, the reconfiguration of the existing and the creation of new cellular workspaces, new floor covering, decoration, complete new lighting throughout and the installation of new dado trunking, RCD protected power sockets and an upgraded data network to 2 units, with all installation work being carried out within a securely controlled environment.

In addition, Paradigm were also appointed to carry out urgent necessary fire protection and compartmentation works to the underside of a previously installed mezzanine floor to one of the units and an existing jumbo stud wall to meet the requirements of building control with all building control liaison being undertaken by Paradigm on behalf of the client
